Skim is a service for a personal Library. You save links to public videos and posts, the service makes transcripts and summaries and answers questions about what you saved.
You sign in through the Telegram bot. One person — one account. Access is granted by hand while the service runs for a small circle.
Rights to the source material belong to its authors. Skim grants no rights to it and doesn't distribute it: it only helps you work with what you can already open.
The internal currency is “skims”: paid actions are counted in them (processing an item, a question to the Library, a transcript). The subscription tops the balance up every month. Unspent skims don't roll over forever and can't be exchanged for money.
You can cancel the subscription at any moment: access lives out the period you paid for. If the service couldn't carry out an action you paid for, the skims come back automatically.
The service works “as is”. We do our best to keep it available, but we don't promise it will run without interruption: it depends on the source platforms and on outside providers, which can change and can fail.
You can delete your account at any moment — in the app or on the support page. We can close access if an account is used to harm the service or other people.
